Her lessons were engaging, useful, and she was very patient with everyone in class; always encouraging students to try and believe in yourself that you can do better. I came to this country as an immigrant in 2018 and I met Alene on my journey in Adult school. For two years she helped me a lot on how I could succeed and be a better person in the US and helped me to apply to graduate school. It is because of her help and effort that I became a graduate student at the University of San Francisco. This changed my whole world and will help me secure a better future.
